Jan

Jan has created a wide universal platform for his career in consultancy. Before joining Roland Berger he finished his Masters degree in law at the Charles University Law School and financial management at the University of Economics in Prague (with honors). He spent one year studying business and financial law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University Bonn in Germany. At this time he also gained his first experience in business consulting while working for a local consultancy company in Bonn. A traineeship in barristers' chambers in Hong Kong later on offered him an opportunity to discover Chinese culture and economic growth.

Since his entering our firm in 2006, Jan specializes on projects in financial services, telecommunications and utilities. In consultancy he especially enjoys the necessity of big picture view as well as creative approach in finding new solutions. Jan is a strong team player who realizes well that an efficient team manages much more that just a sum of its members.

Jan is fond of travelling and photography, preferably at the same time. He is also one of keen sportsmen in our office. A passionate squash player took part in several cyclomarathons and he enjoys all outdoor activities whatever it is (skiing, canoeing, hiking).
