Martin

Martin joined the company in 2011 and his primary industry focus is on Oil & Gas and Utilities. Before joining Roland Berger, he was with a niche consultancy dealing mostly with energy related projects in Eastern Europe.

He likes the job because it gives him the unique opportunity to participate in solving various urgent issues different companies face, thus getting a plastic idea about the way businesses work. Another great experience is working with interesting people both on the client side and within the company. He also appreciates that continuous learning is a must in management consulting.
Martin studied Politics and International Relations at Charles University and Macroeconomics combined with Business Law at VSE, Prague. He also studied Economy at Nottingham University in Britain.

In his free time, Martin likes to do sports like running or sparring and reading economy, business or philosophy related books. He also enjoys listening to classical music. However, after his daughter was born several months ago, he mostly spends his leisure now by having a great time with his family.
